Coaching (Engl)

The world is changing, individuals and organizations are permanently in transition.
Coaching is efficient because the client is responsible and actor of his progress. He takes the leadership. The coach is only the copilot, the client is the pilot!

  • What is coaching?

The International Coach Federation defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.

  • How coaching would benefits the organization?

It is applicable to individuals and teams at all levels of the hierarchy
It complements other development processes
It encourage discussions tied to the achievement of business results
It promotes development of new skills
It foster future-oriented thinking

  • How coaching would benefits individuals?

It  capitalizes on the unique potential of the person
It provides a path for personal development and fosters self-confidence
It promotes personal discovery and self responsibility for solving problems

  • What is the coaching process?

It will start with a free 1/2h hour coaching session (either face-to-face or by teleconference call) :
– for the coachee to understand what is coaching if she/he never had the experience before
– for the coach/coachee to evaluate if they are a good match for each other
– to establish a trusty and collaborative environment

During the coaching session, the coach and the coachee will
•    Define the desired outcome
•    Evaluate the strengths, the opportunities and challenges
•    Identify priorities for action

Coaching sessions may be conducted in person or over the telephone, with each session lasting a previously established length of time.

Between scheduled coaching sessions, the coachee may be asked to complete specific actions that support the achievement of one’s personally prioritized goals.

The duration of the coaching relationship varies depending on the individual’s personal needs and preferences.

Last meeting: Conclusion of the progress. What has been covered and what is left.

  • Return On Investment

According to the 2009 ICF Global Coaching Client Study, companies that use or have used professional coaching for business reasons have seen a median return on investment of seven times their initial investment. Individual clients reported a median return on investment of 3.44 times their investment.

Testimony :

An Army officer jumping into the business arena after having deployed several times to crisis zones, I very much appreciated to be supported, which really made this career switch a winning hit. As part of a one-year MBA program, I was granted with Nathalie’s premium coaching program. A conscientious and available coach, she was alternately challenging and supporting, helping me to unveil operating answers to my own questioning. I wish any so-called atypical profiles  to take advantage of her positive sight and decentered yet methodical approach.
